What are your top tips for travellers for 2024, and going forward into 2025?

Book early and pick up all the early booking offers/free child places. Secure them with low deposits giving more time to spread the cost.

What do you think is new for travel in 2025? Such as exciting developments in key destinations, new attractions, new trending routes.

We have Dublin and now Belfast flights direct to Orlando with the brand-new Universal park and hotels opening in early 2025. Cancun has also been announced as a new route from Belfast for Summer 2025.

What destination are you most excited about, and why?

Cancun, Mexico as there are some fantastic hotels for all tastes and budgets. The direct flights from Belfast on key summer dates are definitely attracting the family market looking for something different.

Apart from the Olympic games and international football tournaments, what have you found is the most popular sporting event, or one that attracts most travellers?

We have noticed a huge increase in sporting events, in particular Six Nations Rugby and Formula 1 packages.

What are your top tips for saving money while preparing for a trip, or while travelling?

Pre-book any excursions before you go. Consider the board basis when booking as sometimes you can save money in the long run by including half board or all-inclusive packages. A Revolut card is a great way to both save for your holiday and use while you are abroad, taking advantage of better rates of exchange.

What is your favourite destination to visit? Why? What are your favourite things to do while you’re there?

I love Antalya in Turkey and am heading in October for my 16th visit. I have stayed in many hotels in Belek, Side and Kemer and love the standard of hotels on offer. The value for money is incredible and the All-Inclusive packages are probably the best I have experienced anywhere in the world. Turkish pancakes are delicious and a trip to Manavgat waterfall is a must.
